Project groups are strictly time-limited research projects in which a current issue is considered in cooperation with external experts. The members of the Project Group are drawn from the Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Hamburg and other members of the Union of the German Academies of Sciences and Humanities, the National Academy of Science Leopoldina and the National Academy of Science and Engineering acatech.
